    Jefferson SUN offers FREE after-school programming from Monday to Thursday. Programming will resume for the next SUN term, October 6th

    SUN School offers extended learning, family support, & community resources to help students thrive.

     


  • SUN is supporting the following enrichment programs for 2025 Fall (Oct 6 - Dec 11):

    Enrollment for SUN: Self Enhancement Portal 

    SUN Enrollment is mandatory for all participants in the following programs

    • Snack
      • Monday through Thursday, 3:34 pm - 3:45 pm
      • Location: Cafeteria
      • Snack will be given to SUN students before programming starts. Snack is provided by Nutritional Services and SUN.
    • Mock Trial
      • Every Wednesday's 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
      • Location: C10
      • Educational simulation of a real court case where students play the roles of lawyers, witnesses, and other court personnel, participate in Mock Trial Competition.
    • The Lounge
      • Monday through Thursday, 3:45 pm - 5:45 pm
      • Location: A11, Parent Coordinator Room
      • A hangout spot for students where they can play the Nintendo Switch, solve puzzles, build Lego's, and participate in crafts.
    • iUrban Study Hall
      • Monday through Thursday, 3:45 pm - 5:30 pm
      • Location: Library
      • Free after-school academic tutoring in math, writing, and additional subjects. 
    • Step Club
      • Thursday's, 3:45 pm - 5:45 pm
      • Location: A9
      • Learn how to Step and get your dance on! No prior experience needed, work towards a performance for Black History Month.
    • Caldera Arts
      • Thursday's, 3:45 pm - 5:45 pm
      • Location: Blazer Room A44A
      • Offers students the chance to explore their creativity through a variety of unique and inspiring art projects.
