I am thrilled to be your high school teacher librarian. I am originally from Portland, but just returned after being gone for 26 years and I am so happy to be home again! It is my firm belief the CHS library is a dynamic hub composted of three key comonents: the teacher librarian, the library space, and the community they serve together. Together, these elements work in unison to prepare students for life after graduation by fostering engaged, well-rounded, and responsive citizens. The teacher library plays a crucial role in promoting literacy, encouraging lifelong learning, and expanding students' technology and information management skills, both within and beyond the classroom.
I am so happy to be an educator who is part of the transformation of our students from 9th grade to graduation.
