Leave Frequency
In most cases, leave can be taken intermittently, as a reduced work schedule, or continuously. The table below outlines these leave types.

Follow all normal call-out procedures for each absence.
Contact FMLASource and The Standard for each absence. *Less than full day absences are not PLO eligible.
No need to call with each absence, approved leave serves as notice. Employee does need to contact FMLASource and The Standard if their start or end date for leave changes.

Website: www.AbsenceResources.comIMPORTANT: Any time employees are missing work for more than three (3) days due to their own serious health condition, to care for a family member's serious health condition, or for a military leave, they are likely eligible for leave through federal and/or state law that provides employees with certain job protections. To comply with the federal Family Medical Leave Act regulations, employees are encouraged to utilize their job-protected leave rights to open a leave request for more than 3 days of absence, at their discretion, instead of the previous standard of 5 days. Contact AbsenceResources (formerly FMLASource) or Standard to open a request for leave. Please note that employees may be eligible immediately for a qualifying reason.
